Annick David

After a life dedicated to working with materials, since 2012 I have been exploring the magic of color through atmospheric painting inspired by the light of J.M. Turner. I erase outlines with infinite layers of colored filters to create introspective landscapes, suspended between memory and magic.

Anna Bellazini

I am an illustrator, deeply inspired by my Provençal roots in the Var region and by the luminous gentleness of the Mediterranean. I grew up in this environment where the landscapes, markets, and culinary traditions naturally tell stories of sharing and passing down.

My work focuses on capturing moments of life through drawing: everyday scenes, simple gestures, subtle yet emotionally charged atmospheres. I like to observe what often goes unnoticed to reveal its poetry.

Food and traditions occupy an essential place in my world, like a thread that connects generations and memories. Each illustration becomes a sensitive trace, a fragment of memory inspired by my land and by life itself

Michael Milburn-Foster

Born in North Wales in 1943, Michael Milburn-Foster was introduced to drawing and watercolor by his father from a very young age. He later honed his craft at the Kingston College of Art in London, immersing himself in the vibrant energy of the Swinging Sixties alongside close friends and contemporaries such as Francis Bacon and Terry Frost.

While his fascination with imagery led him to a thirty-year career as a film director, Milburn-Foster never set aside his brushes. This extensive background in cinema deeply informed his obsession with the moving image, which he now translates onto the canvas.

Now fully dedicated to his painting, his work explores the human figure through the lens of sport and dance. Combining technical mastery with a unique contemporary sensibility, he achieves the remarkable feat of creating the illusion of motion within a static frame. His paintings are a celebration of physical freedom, offering the viewer a vibrant emotional experience where the beauty of movement feels suspended in time.

About Daeging

A Creative Universe in Ceramics

A student at the School of Fine Arts and a graduate of the Varages School of Ceramics in 2002, I had the opportunity to meet and work with talented ceramicists. Since then, I have been experimenting with clay and glazes, guided by my daydreams and whimsical moods. Through my work, I seek to pay respectful homage to the Elements by combining Earth, Water, Fire, Metal, Wood, and Glass. With my head in the stars since childhood, I draw inspiration from ancient wisdom, nature, and the fantastical worlds of my imagination for my sometimes extravagant creations. It's quite possible that science fiction has also influenced me somewhat… A facilitator for Terre Idyllique for several years, I lead pottery workshops and am passionate about sharing my knowledge so that clay can become a source of joy, liberation, and a return to our roots.

My creations can be seen and purchased at the Atelier des Créativités, a small shop nestled in the heart of Carnoules (church square) and brimming with handcrafted treasures, as well as at the Domaine du Grand Cros, a must-see for all art and vineyard lovers.

You can also see my work throughout Carnoules: Caraquàsi, the giant tortoise on the roundabout created with Miguel Martin, a metalworker; the school mural, created with the youth center; and the mural at the Cultural Center, whose three wooden modules were crafted by artists from the Pierrefeu Hospital Center.

But why Daeging?

Daeging originates from Celtic shamanism. It is a fusion of two runes: Daeg, a symbol of rebirth and light in the face of darkness, and Ing, a symbol of fertility and creativity.
