The Manor House
The bastide sits at the heart of Le Grand Cros, surrounded by century-old olive trees, terraced stone walls, and open vineyard views. The building itself carries the character of a working Provençal estate - generous rooms, natural light, and a sense of quiet that is difficult to find elsewhere in the region.
The manor sleeps fifteen guests across seven bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms. It is taken as a whole property, which means the estate is yours for the duration of your stay. No other guests, no shared spaces, no interruptions. Families, small groups, and wedding parties staying on site all book on this basis.

More Than a Place to Sleep
Le Grand Cros is not only a winery. Olive oil and vinegar are produced on site from 500 trees. The estate holds the Vignobles et Découvertes accreditation, France's national quality certification for wine tourism estates. Cultural events - including concerts and art viewings - are hosted here throughout the year, making the estate a destination in its own right rather than simply a place to taste wine.
For guests staying in the manor house, a visit to the cellar or an evening event is a natural part of the stay. For day visitors, the grounds themselves are worth the journey. The setting, the scale, and the quiet of the Var countryside are not things that can be replicated anywhere else.
Carnoules, the Var
Le Grand Cros is located at the edge of Carnoules in the Var, within a classified natural reserve at the foot of the Massif des Maures. The coast, the hill villages, and the wider Provence region are all within easy reach. Toulon-Hyères Airport is under an hour's drive. Marseille Provence Airport is approximately 90 minutes. The estate has parking on site for up to 50 vehicles.
