Eco Lodges at Le Grand Cros

Something new is coming to the estate. A collection of mirror-walled eco lodges, set among the vines and olive trees of Le Grand Cros, in partnership with ÖÖD, the Estonian designers redefined what it means to stay in nature. Planning approval has been granted. The lodges are on their way.

Designed to Disappear into the Landscape

ÖÖD lodges are built with floor-to-ceiling mirror glass that reflects the surrounding landscape. From the outside, they become part of the environment, the vines, the pine trees, the Provençal sky. From the inside, the view is uninterrupted in every direction. You are in the landscape, not just next to it.

Each lodge is a fully self-contained structure with Nordic design and construction standards. Steel frame, underfloor heating, high-specification glass that reflects 97% of UV rays, and full insulation for use in every season. They are built to be quiet, considered, and entirely at home in the countryside around them.

Waking Up on a Working Wine Estate

The lodges will sit within the grounds of Le Grand Cros, 30 hectares of working vineyard, olive grove, and protected natural landscape at the foot of the Massif des Maures. Guests staying in the eco lodges will have access to the estate's wine tours and tastings, the cellar, and the events programme. The wine is made metres from where you sleep.

The setting offers something that purpose-built glamping resorts cannot replicate. This is a real estate, with a 35-year history, surrounded by ancient forests. The lodges add a new way to experience it, private, immersive, and rooted in the landscape.

In Partnership with ÖÖD

ÖÖD was founded in Estonia in 2019 and has installed over 600 mirror houses across Europe and beyond. Their partnership model is designed specifically for rural landowners, vineyards, distilleries, and estates, who want to add a high-quality accommodation offering without heavy capital outlay. Le Grand Cros will be their first partner in France.

What sets these lodges apart is how carefully they sit within the landscape. The mirrored façades reflect the trees, vines, and sky around them, so rather than interrupting the setting, they disappear into it. It's a genuinely immersive way to stay on the estate, with the beauty of Le Grand Cros right outside the glass, and every modern comfort inside.

Picture a mirrored glass lodge sitting quietly among the Provençal vines. Wake up to the estate. Step outside into the morning light. Dinner, wine, and stillness, all on your doorstep.

Each lodge is designed to disappear into its surroundings. Floor-to-ceiling mirrors reflect the vines, the sky, and the seasons. Inside, everything is calm, considered, and comfortable.

We are bringing a small number of ÖÖD lodges to Le Grand Cros. Guests will have full access to the estate, the wines, and everything it offers.

When they open, spaces will be very limited.
